It was a great turnout for our last meeting, nearly another year gone again already with only the December meeting left in the calendar. Next years meeting dates will be released after the next meeting and posted here.

At the meeting many interesting topics  were discussed including the regular beer clinic and gadget corner along with hop drying, Unitanks & mash Ph . The beer clinic provides an opportunity for members  to get help with diagnosing issues that may have arisen with a particular brew, and harnessing the varied experiences of the the other members.

​The Maypole had an Octoberfest theme with Octoberfest food options and many German beers to try. Many of the members took advantage of the superb special food items on offer.  The normal favourites were also available as well as a very good selection of real ales also on offer.

The next meeting is scheduled for early December and we will be returning to The Maypole Freehouse. The meeting is from 12pm-3pm.
 

We very much welcome new members, with or without brewing experience, who are interested in home brewing.

The purpose of this group is to share info, experiences, recipes & useful tips from each of the members. We’re not about competitions but helping each other brew better beer.
